Typing Club - this is our new typing program. It's online so you can practice at home. Your teacher has your username and password, so please get it from your teacher and then sign in. Practice, practice, practice! The 4th grade goal is 20 wpm, 90% accuracy, all the alphabet keys and shift key. If you can get to the numbers then that's a bonus!. It is most important that you learn with the proper fingering. So learn the fingers and DON'T PEAK!
Typingtest.com - test your typing skills with this 1 minute test. Remember to select either "Wonderful Wizard of Oz" or "Test Instructions" as your topic. These two selections do not have numbers or special characters. Your goal is to type at least 20 wpm with 90% or better accuracy. Remember you need to check the Adjusted Speed or the green score.
NetSmartz - Here we will learn about internet safety. We will start with a discussion, then watch some videos, maybe read the comics and then take a quiz. It should take us several sessions to go through all this since we will do a little at a time. Remember, whenever you are dealing with the internet:
