The Geography of California This site is all about the geography of California. Scroll down and it gives a short description of the physical features of the different California regions.
Visit California. This site provides maps of your regions. Scroll down to find the Central Coast, Desert, High Sierra, and Central Valley. When you find your region, click on "regional maps". Look at the maps for labels describing physical features.
The California Geotour: This site is an interactive index of Web pages of geologic field trip guides and related websites compiled by the California Geological Survey. The Geotour is organized by geological regions. Scroll down to find websites that include geologic information, photographs, maps, text and directions for local natural features.
Note 36 is a .pdf file that has a written description of each of the geological regions of California.

California Tourist Guide: This site has tourist attractions organized by regions. First click on Northern, Central or Southern California in the tabs at the top. Then click on the region and links you are interested in.
